Supporting their work is immigration specialist and paralegal Kim Raja, who has over six years of hands-on experience helping clients navigate the complex immigration system. John Burt has been practicing law for over 25 years, with extensive experience in both immigration law and corporate counsel work. As a licensed California attorney, John represents immigration clients in all 50 states, guiding families and individuals nationwide through complex matters such as deportation defense, motions to reopen and reconsider, green card applications, and family-based petitions.

In addition to his immigration practice, John has served as General Counsel for multiple companies and is the founder of LegAI Tech, Inc., a legal software company that develops AI-powered solutions to make legal support more accessible and efficient. His unique combination of courtroom advocacy, corporate leadership, and legal technology innovation gives him a broad perspective on solving problems for his clients.

Uyen Ngo brings over two decades of legal experience to her work as a founding partner at Burt & Ngo, where she focuses on immigration law and business law. She has represented clients in immigration matters across the country, including deportation defense, motions to reopen and reconsider, green cards, and family-based petitions. Licensed in California, Uyen is authorized to practice immigration law in all 50 states, and her clients span the United States.

In addition to her immigration practice, Uyen has served as a trusted business attorney for dozens of small businesses, providing guidance on contracts, compliance, and day-to-day legal needs. Her ability to combine strong advocacy in immigration law with practical solutions for entrepreneurs makes her a versatile and compassionate advocate.

Uyen co-founded Burt & Ngo out of a commitment to fight against the injustices of a changing immigration system and to provide accessible, high-quality legal representation to families and businesses alike. Kim Raja

Kim Raja is an experienced immigration specialist and paralegal with more than 6 years of dedicated experience supporting clients in complex immigration matters. At Burt & Ngo, Kim works closely with attorneys John Burt and Uyen Ngo to prepare cases involving deportation defense, motions to reopen and reconsider, green card applications, and family-based petitions.
